Two Lovely Moments

Lovely moment #1: I ordered a used book on Amazon last week. Today, it arrived beautifully gift-wrapped with a little bow on it, and a note saying, "I hope you love this book as much as I did! Thanks for giving it a good home!" I love people who love books.

Lovely moment #2: My very first boyfriend ever called me today, to apologize for breaking my heart when I was fourteen. I told him that no one gets through high-school without breaking someone's heart, and that now that I'm older I think of him with great fondness. (Part of me also wonders if he's still as good-looking as he used to be. Am I allowed to do that?)

That's awfully sweet of him, any idea what brought it on?

(and sure, you're entitled to wonder. *grin*)

I have no idea what sparked it, but it certainly made my day. :)

It is interesting.

For the record, if I was responsible for breaking anyone's heart in high school, they never copped to it. *grin*
