Because it is 12:20, and I am writing this from LaGuardia, when I should have been at GenCon two hours ago. I left the house at 5:30 this morning and have no prospect of getting to Indy before 5:30 PM.
I almost decided not to go to Gencon, so that I could spend a weekend doing all the wonderful things boffo9 mentioned in his post. Instead, I'm spending ten hours sitting in an airport.
Explain to me why this is worth it, again?
Also: don't fly USAir.
Less cranky now. Thanks for listening to me vent. I will stay up late tonight and play silly games and I will still have two and a half days of gaming goodness. I'm just annoyed about missing Jared Sorenson's game design seminar. Sigh.
