Ick

I just hauled out the bag I used at my sister's house and it still smells like smoke. Anyone know an easy way to get smoke out of heavy-duty canvas? I don't have my own washing machine, and I'd rather not spend tonight at the laundromat . . . .

What about that spray stuff... The one they advertise where the dog sprays the house to get rid of teh People scent.... I forget the name atm... ;)

Febreeze, if you don't mind the slightly floral scent of that... or, if I remember right, you can put it in the freezer for a couple of days. As that is supposed to work with smelly shoes, I think it would work with smoky bags as well... :)

The freezer is where you are also suppsed to put books that are soaked with water if you want to try and preserve them...
