Hurrah for Electronics!

I have not lost all my skill with little soldery bits; one trip to Radio Shack later, I have a working battery-powered LED-light package that is small enough to fit through the hole in the lamp and lights it up rather beautifully from the inside. I couldn't find white LEDs, though, and I also want some kind of on-off switch (IR controlled?) so I'm not hanging the thing up just yet. I can't seem to find the website for Jameson Electronics, though, which was my standby when I was doing my Masters. Anyone have a recommendation for a good place to order electronic bits 'n bobs online?

Jess, is there anything you can't do?

I have no direct evidence that she is able to construct an atomic bomb... but that may simply be because she has not yet tried.

This was the first LJ post of the day I read. And it was a shock of cold fear. kleenestar obviously has the resourcefullness of Reed Richards or Doctor Doom. I just know she could build a weapon capable of duplicating the effects of a nuclear weapon using a two aspirin, a few computer power cables and a pencil sharpener.

Can you not feel the shivers running down my spine?

Chris, if she starts up with evil laughs, we'll just have to slap on some spandex and try to beat her as a superhero team.

Crap, she's gone evil on us.

Ok, I'll be "No-Bellybutton Man" Its not much, but its the only super power I have. I bet I can get a spandex outfit with a big cutout area over the gut....

Is this that little star-lamp that has been on your bookshelf-counter-thing for the past few weeks? That's awesome! It is a pretty thing.
