Pattern Recognition, The Weekly Quote

I love my English class.

Today's amusing quote from our professor: "I think the Columbia student newspaper has gone into that reverse world from Superman. You know? Mr. Mexelplexel's world? Yeah. That's where the newspaper is."

Even though I'm about to be very pedantic, that's still a great quote :)

Mr. Mxyzptlk is a wacked out villan of Superman, who comes from the fifth dimension (or something). His universe is crack, but not nessesarily backwards crack.

Bizarro World is the backwards Superman world where everything is backwards (being stupid is a good thing, etc) populated by various Bizarros (Bizarro Superman, Bizarro Lois Lane, etc). It seems likely that this is what your professor was refering to.

Hey, sweetie, *I* know the difference - even if he clearly doesn't. :)

Hey, random question here: once at your apartment during a Gloria Mundi session, I picked up a book of yours that was on the etymology and general history of sexually related terms and actions (written in a fun colloquial style though). I was thinking about it today and am interested in buying it if I can find it cheap, but I have no idea what the title or author is. A google search of related terms brings up "The Lover's Tongue" by Mark Morton but the cover doesn't look at all as I remember it. Thanks!
